New Eisenbrauns mug now "in press"

Yep, we're at it again. Taking to heart some of the suggestions by other bibliobloggers back in December and January, we have designed a new mug:

OK, what does it say and where is it from? Find out on Monday how you can get yours! They should be arriving in about two weeks.

The main body of the text contains the first two lines of the first tablet of the Enuma Elish. The first line of the "colophon" means something like "Merchant of the four shores (regions)." The second line of the colophon reads "www.eisenbraums.com" but is not in any known cuneiform writing system (perhaps in the Latin alphabet). I believe the colophon was added considerably after the main body of the text or is at least from a much later tradition.

So what does this get me? I really like this cup.

I must have one. Even if I can't read any of it.
